Class Photographs
Order forms for year group photographs were distributed before the half term break. Completed orders and payments should be returned in the envelope provided by Monday 9 th June. Please note that all cheques should be made payable to Wrates Photographers. Full sized versions of the photographs are currently on display next to the school office entrance.

Residential Trip Payments
YEAR 6 RESIDENTIAL (23 rd -27 th June)- parents are reminded that final payments should be made by NEXT Monday (9 th June)
ROBINWOOD (September 2008)- the latest instalment was due at the end of May.

Year 5 Issues
(1) Cycle Training
Parents of pupils in Year 5 are reminded that cycle training will commence on Thursday12th June.
(2) Secondary School Transfer 2009
Baysgarth School will be holding a meeting for parents at 3.35pm on Tuesday 15 th July (further details to follow soon).

School Budget 2008-2009
As you may be aware a number of schools have had to lose staff or merge classes to balance their budgets this year. Fortunately, although our budget was tight, we are pleased to announce that we will be maintaining our usual year group based class structure. As such, our September 2009 class structure for Years 1 to 6 will be one teacher per year group. We will also maintain our policy of employing at least one full time teaching assistant per year group. Foundation Stage staffing ratios will remain below one member of staff to eight children. Details relating to the actual staff working in each year group will be published with Annual School Reports on 9 th July 2008
