About the Archive:

The Gander Archive

The GANDER has always been available to download in PDF version since 2007, kindly maintained by Stan Robertson who first created and maintained the original website all the way to 2025 when Rose and Alex Williams took over, and we truly thank him for that. Many Goxhill connections and former Goxhillians all over the world, such as the United States and all the way to Australia, have been able to stay connected to our beloved village.

In 2026, we have decided to not only upgrade the website, but to make every issue available, online. That is a huge task, a LOT of scanning of at least another 80 previous issues, which will need to be carefully dismantled, scanned and put back together. We are also reviving other in-depth projects, such as Goxhill Maps.

We want all the Gander issues to be fully searchable. Therefore, we would like you, the Goxhillians, to write a short synopsis of the contents of each issue, to enable the issues to be a truly searchable historical archive. We call this the 40th anniversary mission. Find out more and how to get involved, on the GANDER HISTORY page.
